I would go with https://www.designity.com I’m more of a visual designer and I love the chance to illustrate and branding and packaging offer that, I wanna work from home and I wouldn’t mind a part time job if I’m doing something I love.

With the upcoming week, it has surprisingly been less crazy. I’ve been able to balance school work and life, but I know that if something unexpected comes up, whether good or bad, I know I can handle it. My worst fear has already happened to me years ago. Coming home to my safe haven sparks my creativity. I’m surrounded by my favorite things like plants, books, and artwork. One of the pieces I have up is my father’s Aztec calendar, which sits right on my desk. It has helped me with my upcoming project for a pop-up book. In this book, I have to incorporate the letter Q, so I decided to include Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent. I will draw him, but I’m not sure yet how to make it stand out. This is my first time creating a physical book, so it’s going to be a challenge. Additionally, I have a collection of crystals, one of which is a clear quartz. I bought holographic paper, hoping it will add a special touch in some way or another. These are some of the things around me that inspire me, especially my room, which is filled with various little random items I collect. I believe I don’t have to look far for inspiration; my room is my main source of creative ideas. It’s worth mentioning that I never had a room of my own until last year when we moved into a bigger place, so I went all out and painted it teal, decorating it with my favorite things.

Mood board for petcube a dog treat dispenser, that allows owners to have some interaction with their dogs when they aren not home using their phones. so for the mood board I was going for a comfort feeling and added an orange for that comfy look I added pic of people and dogs cuddling to give that senes of being with your pet all the time even when your not, and that your pet is always with you, treats to show what treats you can possibly pet in the machine , I see people with “extra” buying this since the original prince is a lot so its kinda has a luxury feel to it.

Blog Assignment #2This morning Cameron talked about looking for inspiration and how he enjoyed looking at textures, patterns, and shapes. Your blog assignment is to shoot 5 images that fit in one of those themes, textures, patterns and shapes that are inspirational

these images are mt favorite that I’ve recently have taken, the night sky had a painty softness look and the moon looked so clean, the st Peter church had beautiful symmetry and repetitive patterns same with the daisies, and the mushroom had a vibrant red.

For this design I tried to include the ferris wheel that seems to be on all of Coachellas social media sites I choose the colors pink because I wanted to have a fun eye catching theme and also the sunsets in California are pink and the festival pictures include shots during this time of day, I wanted to keep the firebird so I put with the ferris wheel to still pay homage to the team 🙂

Who are you? :

I’m okay but the final projects are really a lot of work , I feel like when I don’t have a lot of time on each project I’m presenting my best work for the sake of turning it in time :/ and I got covid and that was more stress then it should be , I’m feeling better but this one hit me knocked me out for a few days,

What is it that you want to do?

I want to be able to draw more of my personal stuff, school has consumed a lot of my time to be able to, not like its a bad thing I am learning a lot but it can be overwhelming

Why?

I have a lot of empty sketchbooks I want to be to fill them up, there usually like chapter book in my life I document the art I’m doing at the time when I’m doing those

Where do you want to go?

like for vacation? I want to go out of the country maybe Ireland or Japan , I love the nature and history of those country, I would want to go to New York again I love the chaos and the scene there I didn’t get to go to the MET there maybe next time I loved central park to super expensive tho.

What would you want to say?

I know the workload is a lot and I’m truly grateful to get the chance to be back to school after I had to dropout due to financial problems 6yrs ago, I’m getting a second chance and I’m glad my teachers are eager to help me, and my classmates are so nice they have really made me feel welcomed and we all watch out for each other 🙂

A fun video that I can think for the graphic design would be to guess who made a certain drawing/icon etc I think that we know our classmates to know who’s style it belongs to, and if no one can guess hints can be given who the person might be but the hints aren’t to obvious, even the media students can join they have gotten close with the graphic department to, so we can see their photographs or work, that’s the only thing I can think of now that’s not crazy .

For project 2 I was not able to come in person sadly but lucky, the written instructions were very clear to follow , I’ve seen some classmates work on this and asked for help when I could get the animals to move ,i couldn’t figure out the proximity , I also had an issue that my laptop would freeze I hoped it didn’t crash on me, I started with image of the living room and it has a big window and the foxed looks excited so I thought what if was happy to see you home along with owl , so I made it a Welcome home card, this was cute and fun to work with I liked it:)

In today’s lecture, Adam laid out the top three factors his company tries to deliver on when taking on a job/client. In short form, those are

:1 – Deliver Quality Work
2 – Create and Foster Trust (with the client)
3 – Add Value to the Production/Company/Idea

He also shared a few experiences where he made mistakes, and was unable to live up to the bar which he tries to set for his and his company’s work.Pick ONE of the above three factors and reflect upon an experience in your life where you failed to live up to the expectations of a project or job. It could be your own expectations or those set by an outside entity, but talk about what you learned from that experience and how it shaped your process/work ethic from that point forward.

3 – Add Value to the Production/Company/Idea

Ive only had 2 jobs in my life so ill speak about my time at the vet , where the bosses asked for ideas to improve the cleanliness and productivity for staff , I said that we can assign staff to the doctors so they have time to write down their notes and speak with clients to make them less the stressed , that ended worked out and they used till the day even after I left, then I asked for better cleaning supplies and gear for the assistants after they saw that I’m serious about my job and we actually need these supplies. I built a trust with my boss that he looked for me when something needs to be changed or before he wanted to change something and asked for my opinion.
