We have been working on the big day of portfolio show of second year students this week. I’m really happy for them. They have created a lot amazing works during the two years. I kind of see the day when I will be graduated.
We are doing a video for our program to get more people know and enroll. Our idea is to show really life we have in both design program and photography program. We came up several good ideas that need to narrow down. At that time, the first week, we all agree with doing a video about our daily life with cool after effects. Here is the mood board I created.
Here is our Storyboard:
Shot 1: Opening on a person, standing, with classical music playing and a spotlight. With microphone and champagne flute, fancy dress. Camera panning in on person, while they are talking.
“Welcome ladies and gentlemen”
The person disappears into curtain, by being pulled along on a skateboard.
Classical music fades out.
Shot 2: Curtains open, to mc on all fours with goat outfit. Two skateboarding goats cross front and back of MC.
Shot 3: Choreographed dance- four people
Shot 4: Cutscenes of different dances
-Sun opening (2 people)
-wiggly hula (4 people)
-freaking out goat feet (1 people)
– mountain climbing goats (everyone in a line)
-clapping feet (2 people)
-leap frog (5 people)
Shot 5: Everyone walking in one at a time until everybody is all in one place doing weird dance
I teamed with Chloe and Jamie doing a video for our school to get more money from Foundation. We interviewed three students from different programs, one Apparel designer, one programer and one culinary student. We asked them similar question. Why you chose Seattle central, How your program benefit you? Does it help or make a different for your future and the other three, trying to show Seattle central could fulfill everyone’s education purpose.
