My experience with photography and video is actually familiar. It was the first industry I took interest in doing stuff in music industry with shooting music videos and concert photography. But left it due to the financial side of music in video/ photography is a lot work for minimum pay but is very value in experience and allows you to have more of a DIY approach to it.
My take away is always to somewhat baseline verse in different media because they lend each other well to allow to expand upon creativity. Also allows a better understanding of each other work loads in collaboration on bigger projects that take many different talents and skills sets. It helps you become a better leader and worker in the creative world.
The program on first impression makes me jealous because I don’t have the strongest knowledge of creating lighting when it comes to video and photography. So seeing students getting that experience is interesting.
