Leadership Principles

In may last job the three principles that I can share examples of is Learn and be Curious, Earn trust and Deliver results. The job I had before I started classes here at Seattle central. It was job as a para-educator at a high school. I had to learn and be curious to assist my students when helping complete work. If they did not understand a certain way I would find another way so they can understand the lesson that is being taught. Also so they would listen to me and know I was there to help them. And not try to trick them. At times they thought I would try to make things more difficult because I didn’t give them the answer. I would have to earn there trust. So they know I am here to help them also that I want them to succeed. Lastly results were delivered by my students understanding the lessons and were able to-do it on their own.

I guess the hardest one to adopt is customer obsession. I that it is important in the working world. But I find it to be a bit strange. To me it sounds like being obsessed with making moneyed not seeing people past that. And it makes me uncomfortable.
