For my food project, I decided to use two mediums. Photography and photoshop. I just took a picture using my phone. A dessert one of my classmates was eating caught my eye. All I had was my phone on me. So I decided to set up the shot. Good thing on the fish floor we have a lot of white walls to act as even background. Then I uploaded my photo on my laptop and opened it in photoshop. I wanted to practice some of my photoshop skills. It is one of my main classes this quarter so I found the info to use it most refreshed in my mind. I adjusted the saturation a bit on the image adjustments. Just to make the food stand out a bit more. Then on another layer I added text. My classmate also said the dessert tasted very sweet. So I wrote “too sweet” for my text. Then for my finishing touches I drew a little heart. and copied it over the image. The font I used looks hand written so I thought it added to the final look.
