BLOG ASSIGNMENT “Creative Process”

I’d like to share the process of creating one of my favorite shots for a lighting techniques final project.

For this final project, I needed to capture the human body’s form. I wanted to show the unique beauty and power of women’s body. I came up with the idea of a photoshoot with Yuliia Brychkovska and was thrilled when she agreed to this experiment.

Here’s the video of my creative process of this shoot: https://youtu.be/1nWCTgvnn3s?si=4KTT92s-thMOZbhC

The key elements of the shoot were a black dress and corset, a short black wig covering half of Yuliia’s face to focus more on her body than her face, because that was a requirement for this assignment, I wasn’t allowed to do portraits.

I also used long red nails to add more detail to the look.

I’m really pleased with my final result and am very grateful to Yuliia for such a wonderful experience. I received a lot of positive feedback and consider it one of my most successful shoots!

“TWICE SOLD TALES” AR FINAL ASSIGNMENT

For this final project, Sana and I decided to choose the theme of bookstores.

I created 3 AR panels for the Twice Sold Tales bookstore. It’s a secondhand bookstore and its unique feature is that many cats live there so you can interact with them while choosing a book to read.

I worked on this assignment with my friend Cedar. We had a great time and went for a walk to this incredibly cozy bookstore. I really enjoyed working on this assignment, and I didn’t face any challenges.

MODULE ASSIGNMENT #3 AR APP REVIEW

For my third AR Module assignment, I decided to review the Houzz app, which specializes in selling furniture and interior design products.

Houzz uses AR to enhance the shopping experience for its customers by allowing them to visualize how home goods will look in their own space before making a purchase.

The app has a really visually appealing and aesthetic design.

My AR experience:

PROS:

  1. The app includes a strong community aspect, allowing users to ask questions, share ideas, and get feedback from others;
  2. The AR feature enhances the shopping experience by allowing users to visualize how furniture will look in their own space before making a purchase;
  3. The AR feature is relatively easy to use, with clear instructions on how to access and utilize it within the app;
  4. Users can interact with the AR models, such as rotating them or moving them around in their space, providing a more immersive experience.

CONS:

  1. The app can be overwhelming for new users, with a lot of content and features that may be difficult to navigate at first.
  2. Not all products in the app support the AR feature, which can be frustrating for users looking to visualize a specific item;
  3. AR models don’t show the material from which the furniture is made;
  4. AR feature sometimes works pretty slow.

In conclusion, I want to say I really enjoyed using Houzz because I’m really into interior design. I find the AR feature in this app really useful, even though it needs some improvement.

“LET’S LEARN ABOuT SPACE” AR Module ASSIGNMENT #2

For my second AR module assignment, I made an interactive space card. I decided to show all 9 planets of different sizes in the correct order.

I’m very interested in space and astronomy, so I quickly came up with an idea for my interactive card. Aero has lots of objects on different topics, including space.

My animation starts with a gold sphere and an arrow above it. When you tap the sphere, you see an interactive card with the planets and their names, the satellite, and the inscription “Let’s learn about Space.” If you get closer to these objects, they start spinning.

I really enjoyed working in Adobe Aero, and I didn’t face any challenges or issues while doing this assignment.
