Photo Editing: Proficient in Lightroom, I harmoniously combine colors and processing styles.

Tools I have that need development:

Time Management: I need to become better at planning and organizing my time to work more efficiently.

Photoshop: While I have a basic understanding of Photoshop, I lack confidence in using this software.

Video Shooting: Recognizing the importance of video, I should dedicate more attention to shooting and editing videos.

Tools I don’t have that I need to learn:

Team work: I aspire to learn how to work effectively in a team and enhance my leadership qualities.

Posing: I need to learn how to provide clear instructions to models for effective posing.

Communication and Networking: Being new in town, I aim to make new connections with people who also work in the creative field.

For this assignment, I chose the theme of a pet-friendly interstellar vacation. To create this photo, I wanted to depict myself as a child along with my dog who unfortunately passed away last year. I spent my entire childhood with her, so I decided it would be very interesting to go back to those times and imagine ourselves on an intergalactic vacation. I wanted the photo to show me and my dog playing on a spaceship in outer space, wearing astronaut costumes.

Experience I gained from working with AI:

I really enjoyed generating photos using AI. Currently, there are incredibly many available software options that allow reproducing almost any scenarios. Unfortunately, AI does not always work as you wish and can provide photos of poor quality.

AI Pros And Cons

I believe that AI can greatly facilitate the life of photographers by providing an extraordinary amount of interesting options that everyone can integrate as they wish. Unfortunately, most free AI software do their job quite poorly but quickly. Eventually, to generate truly incredible things you need to pay. In conclusion, I believe that AI has become an integral part of every creative person’s life. I think it is a useful tool for every photographer.

I always thought I was better at taking pictures than shooting videos. I’ve been afraid to make videos on my digital camera because the footage never turned out the way I wanted. The videos were always shaky and didn’t look good, and the WarpStabilizer in Adobe Premier Pro couldn’t always fix it. So, at the top of my tech wishlist is a professional stabilizer. A good, steady image can make almost any video look much more professional. After a few hours of searching and watching video reviews of different camera stabilizers, I settled on DJI RS 3 Pro Combo, 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer.

I think this stabilizer would be really helpful for media students, especially in the Visual Media class that focuses on making videos. It costs $1099.

My passion for art began in early childhood. I loved music and drawing. Additionally, I attended an art school for children, which helped me develop a creative perception of the world.

A few years later, as a teenager, I became interested in fashion, photography, and video. One of my favorite activities after school was watching music videos of American artists, and from that moment on, my dream was to shoot my music videos. At the age of 15, I watched Twin Peaks for the first time, and it became one of my main sources of inspiration. This series greatly influenced my creative vision.

Over time, my interest in fashion photography grew. I consistently organized photo shoots for my friends and shared them on my Instagram. I also enjoy being a model for other photographers. This experience is extremely helpful in my work as a photographer because I understand what it’s like to be both in front of and behind the lens.

My passion now is to capture the beauty of people through pictures and help them see themselves from a completely new perspective. I believe my style can be described as mysterious dark fashion. I love using dark colors and harsh lighting in photographs. Growing up in Ukraine, Ukrainian cultural heritage naturally played a huge role in my creative life. I love mixing American and Ukrainian motifs in my art. That’s what makes my style unique.

I moved to the United States at the age of 17. With a strong desire to study visual art, I spent many hours searching for the perfect program that would fully align with my interests and professional goals. I had no hesitation before entering the Visual Media Program at Seattle Central. I was 100% certain that studying there would help me improve my skills in photography and videography and also better understand my style, integrating it effectively for a wide audience.

Letter “J”

One of my dreams as a kid was always to visit the United Kingdom. I love the culture, weather, and atmosphere of this country. So when I was doing this assignment the first country that came to my mind was the United Kingdom.

The cost of living in the UK can be relatively high, especially in major cities like London or Manchester. The monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment in the city center can range from £800 to £1,000. Monthly expenses for food can vary, but an average range might be £200 to £300 for groceries.

Even though the country is expensive it offers a high quality of life with access to excellent healthcare, education, and a social welfare system that provides support for various life stages.

Since I’m a visual media student I was curious to find positions that are most relatable with my interests and goals. I would love to work as a creative art director in one of the UK studios. I believe that international work is an indicator of success and true professionalism.

Coco & Clair Clair are a pop duo from Atlanta, Georgia. They make music in a new genre of lo-fi bedroom pop.

I made this poster in a pretty simple way. I didn’t want to use any bright colors or anything very specific. I used warm brown and pink colors to convey the lo-fi/chill aesthetic of the group.

To be honest, it was my first time listening to this group and I liked it so much! These girls have their unique style and vibe. I love it!
