I chose to “redesign” the open area by the elevators of the creative academy. I find the panoramic windows a perfect workplace. I decided to include elements of a Louisiana Bayou for my space. I find the water to be incredibly relaxing and find the trees to add a sense of quiet tranquility. I have never actually been to Louisiana but every time I see images or scenes from the area, I feel very drawn to it. Swamps and bayous are vastly overlooked terrain and I believe that they should be more widely recognized as places of healing and peace.
