A PetCube Mood Board

This campaign for the PetCube treat is a joy for the whole family. That is why for this mood board I decided to really hone in on the family aspect. I chose yellow and white for my main colors and high key lighting to reflect bright and happy feelings. To appeal to the main clientele I wanted to incorporate real people who are head over paws for their pets. For textures I went with smooth, sleek, and simple textures so as to not detract from this amazing luxury item that will bring you not only joy, but with the built in camera and mic, peace of mind that your furry loved one is safe and sound waiting for you at home.

Pros and Cons of Various Employment Types

There are many different types of jobs one may find themselves presented with once they step out of the realm of academia. There are contract/freelance/gig workers who typically work part from the client or company they provide services for. This can be great because it offers the worker more flexibility in their schedule as well as being able to work for various clients at once. They can usually get more money for their services then full or part time employees but this is necessary because these workers also have to pay there own medical, dental, etc. These folks also have different tax responsibilities as they have to file a 1099 instead of a W2.

Part time workers typically work around 30 hour per week. This can vary wildly in either direction though depending on where they work and how it is structured. This type of job many times will offer varied off days allowing for a bit more flexibility in scheduling. This can also be a hindrance though because nit can. make it difficult to plan for things long term. Part time employees are also paid hourly and are never salaried. They are paid for the amount of time they are clocked in for the company.

Full time workers have more legal protections than the other categories. They are more often eligible for raises and receive full benefits packages. They will often get a retirement fund as well. Full time work has much less flexibility and varied schedules than the other careers. The hours are usually rigidly set and the employee must work 5 days a week, and will be expected to work overtime.

For myself personally, I would either choose contract work or full-time (in house). I mostly want stability and benefits for my work so I think full time would be a good fit for me. I would also enjoy the freedom to set my schedule and choose when or when not to work as a gig worker.

Below are three links to Part Time job listings that I found through LinkedIn. I Picked one in Washington, one in NYC, and one in Redding CA:
