Honestly, I couldn’t think of any places better fit me than my hometown, Vietnam, and If I could choose one place outside of the U.S to live or work; I guess you know the answer. I spent most of my lifetime in Vietnam. I love and miss my hometown so much. So, what better than have an opportunity to comeback, use the skills that you’ve learned to contribute to the development of your country.
However, graphic designers in Vietnam don’t getting paid well compared to other country; that’s the things that I worry the most.
Here are 3 jobs that I found online and their requirements:
- UX/UI designer for DataHouse Asia
-Students and fresh graduates with major in Business/Computer Science, Graphic Design or equivalent.
-Proactive towards problems, motivated, good self-learning skills and motivated.
-Proficiency with design tools as: Figma, Sketch App, Photoshop, AI
-Proficiency with research methodology.
-Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
-Great if you have a portfolio of previous UX/UI projects.
What skills I already have will have and will have?
- Familiar with using Adobe software include Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Pursuing Graphic design and will be graduated from SCCA in 2023.
- Bilingual (Vietnamese and English).
- Currently learning coding, Figma and involving in a few UX/UI school projects in Erik’s class.
- Proactive towards problems, motivated, good self-learning skills and motivated.
2. Graphic Designer for Shoppe
-1 years of proven graphic designing experience.
-Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptually/visually
-Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas to non-designers
-Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc)
-Animation, Video Editing, Film Making and Photoshooting experience is plus
What skills I already have and will have?
- Familiar with using Adobe software include Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Will be learning InDesign in 2nd quarter.
- Pursuing Graphic design and will be graduated from SCCA in 2023.
- Currently learn to present ideas and communicate well to client.
- I’ve some experiences with photo shooting. Additionally, I just finished new media film making course, which gave me a basic overall understanding of film making, like sound effects, shot sizes, using Premier pro to edit video.
- Have experiences with some basic animation and still learn more in After Effect class.
- 3.Motion Graphic Designer for CREATORY
-At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
-Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, After Effect.
-Basic English communication skills.
-Advantage for College or BS degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
-Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain ideas.
What skills I already have and will have?
- Bilingual (Vietnamese-English)
- Not a good at presentation right now but will try to be good at this.
- Will get graphic design degree in 2023.
- Familiar using photoshop and Illustrator. Currently learning Premier and AF in SCCA.
