The blog’s content this week really woke me up; lets me think more of my future self and if I was at the top of success how it supposed to be look like. My ambition is broader than just only in the creative field. Everyone will have their own ambition and their own definition of success; For me, success is when I can live in my own creative world, having a stable creative job, making poster/ album cover for artist I loved, surround my family and all people that I love; Last things, open a Coffee shop where all my interest merge together, which is something that I dream of the most.
There are many things happened to me since I immigrated to US with my family. Life was change; the hustle life made me almost forgot what the dream I had been dreaming of was. Design, sneaker, music are all things that you can describes me. I have been dreaming of open a coffee shop where a can merge all of my interests together. My dad is a Vietnamese Coffeeholic; He has a difficult taste and just open with the Vietnamese ice coffee and says NO with all type of coffees in the market. I didn’t mean the other brand of coffees aren’t good, but Vietnamese iced coffee has a really unique taste and smell; easy to recognize set it apart from other coffee brand in the industry. That’s one of the first reasons that I want to open a coffee shop; I want everyone to know how good of our traditional Vietnamese iced coffee is. All my posters/ illustration would be display in the shop, and I’ll be the person tackle designing the menu. I love collecting sneaker, so I will definitely build a wall full of sneaker stack up in my coffee shop. Everyone comes to my shop enjoying the coffee; other than that, they can exchange their knowledge about sneaker, trade shoes, custom shoes or have a sneaker team meeting, etc. When the sun goes down, this time for music; I will make the acoustic show every night after 6p.m, everyone come to my shop can listen to music while enjoying a cup of Vietnamese iced coffee.
In order to those goals, I must train myself every day for to be a good designer, making good money.
