Blog Assignment 1_Jadu Heart Poster Design

The poster captures the atmospheric, nostalgic sound of London-based dream pop duo Jadu Heart. To reflect the band’s hazy, ethereal music style, I utilized a dreamy acid-bright color palette featuring vibrant light magenta, blue-violet, and black. These psychedelic colors may evoke a sense of nostalgia for the retro aesthetics of the 80s. To further emphasize the retro throwback vibe, I used halftone patterns and dots to give the imagery a vintage printed feel. The solution would be nostalgic and psychedelic, but also modern.
