Nature

There are many stresses in my everyday life such as making sure my family needs are covered, keeping up with assignments at school, and other daily life demands. Furthermore, with all this  stressor it is challenging to have a creative mind. In other words, stress deplete the creative juices and we are in a field that requires creativity at all times. In my personal experiences I have found that connecting to nature is the booster that I need to reconnect to my creative self. In fact taking long walks by nature has been providing me with a space to recharge and be connected to my creative side. For example, a long walk on lake washington  is the perfect escape within the city. It provides a long  trail  to be in solitude and be by nature. That moment of solitude gives chase to connect  with myself,to feel  recharge and a give a sense break from all the daily stress. As a result, I feel a shift in my thoughts, my body and my soul:  my thoughts are calmer and clearer, my body feels more energetic and less overwhelmed (or  maybe because I’m tired after a miles of walk) and my soul feels rested. In addition to that nature has a power to spark imagination, with the uniqueness of it, the partners, the interesting shapes, the movement of the water, the feel of the breeze in our bodies, the seasons, the natural ecosystems structure, etc. In my opinion all of these elements can be applicable to solve problems. Therefore, connecting with nature is good for our well being and for our creativity. Who knows we might find the answer or find inspiration or perhaps clarity in nature to solve a problem or solution to a present design task.
