Having to make your own schedule as a freelancer is a huge plus but if you were not great at budgeting your time, and knowing how to create a proper schedule, it can be tough. I guess another minus would be having to set your own prices. a lot of people can have difficult time with that.

A part time plus will be having it open schedule and with that time you could spend on hobbies or a second job. that could also be a minus because you might have to work a second job to make ends meet.

Contract/agency work would be difficult to make connections. You would technically be your own business, so you have to pay for insurance separately maybe and then also pay quarterly taxes.

What time would be good but I feel like it’s another challenge to find a job that appreciates you at for your skills and then also gives proper benefits.
