I am pretty open about the fact that I do not play video games. Ever. Since childhood, I have experienced anxiety around gaming and prefer to observe (unless it is Mario Kart or CTR). I loved “The Last of Us Part 2” in particular because it takes place in post apocalyptic Seattle. It is the sequel to the Last of Us, the action-adventure game that takes place in a world devastated by a fungal pandemic. The protagonist’s journey is fraught with dangers, including infected creatures and hostile human groups. The game combines intense action with a cinematic narrative style, exploring themes such as survival, morality, and the complexities of human relationships.
