Mash-up project

Hello! Welcome to my one and only blog, my new home that I can share all the exciting journeys throughout my 2 years adventure to become one of the greatest graphic designer (fingers crossed).

This is my first ever post, I just want to share something fun that I call a “mash-up project”. After listened to our first guest speaker Paolo Tossolini with his amazing stories and ideas of “mashup”, I made a little board above that included some of a projects that I have done with all of my classes in the last couple weeks as 1st year graphic design student.

As you can see the projects included “road map” as my first presentation for the Illustrator class before we heading into learning some of the amazing tools for illustrator, some discussion with the class for Design history class with the topic of appropriation in the realm design/media/marketing and the example I brought was the lawsuit between Gucci and Guess. Below you will see some icon projects for Introduction to Design class as well as a idea map that we got to shared, AMAZING, isn’t it?. Not to forget one of the class that I (and maybe half the class) feel so immediating out of the others – Interactive, you can see the some work that we are working on for the Yale-School of Art website. Last but not least, the colorful background you see on the board is one of the transition project for the after effect class, fun stuffs but also a challenge for this class.

Afterall, there are some connections between all the classes that supporting one to the others and help shaping me to become a better graphic designer one day at the time. That’s all for today, I hope you enjoying my blog and I will see you for more next week. Ciao!
