Good communication builds trust with clients and transparency. Communicate with clients. Talk about expectations early on. Discuss pricing and services. Discuss your data security policies. . Engagement letters help. To start out on the same page, include expectations from both sides in the engagement letter.

As a professional service provider, you should occasionally interact with clients on a personal level.
